This vintage inlay thunderbird necklace is a "two-fer"; A great inlay thunderbird pendant and handmade Navajo pearls with mother of pearl melon beads. The thunderbird is  mother of pearl, black jet, coral, abalone, and turquoise inlay.  It was once a pin/pendant but someone placed Navajo pearls and a shepard's hook on the pin back. (See picture). The necklace hangs approximately 25" from the hook and eye closure to the bottom of the pendant. Of note, you won't see many necklaces any more with mother of pearl beads like these. It is not stamped or hallmarked as is usual for a vintage piece. On inspection the piece, apart from being modified as detailed above, appears to be in good vintage condition. That being said because it is vintage it is sold in "as is" condition.
